edco is very proud of the products we design, engineer, and produce. edco warrants its products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship, including spoke breakage, for a period of two years after the original purchase. edco will, at its discretion, repair or replace the edco product found to be defective based on the terms of this warranty. edco also reserves the right to provide a full refund in the amount stated on the original invoice or bill of sale. This warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Claims under this warranty may be initiated through the retailer where the edco-equipped bicycle or the edco component was purchased, or directly with edco. Warranty is only valid when original proof of purchase is provided.

When sending an edco wheel for warranty, please remove all accessory items including tires, tubes, rim tape, cassettes, skewers, computer magnets, etc. If you fail to remove these items, we are not responsible for loss or damage. 

Make sure to include a short description of the warranty claim and your contact details. An original proof of purchase is required.

This warranty does not cover cosmetic imperfections in the surface, finish, or appearance of the product that were apparent or discovered at the time of purchase of the product or damage occurring during shipment or transport. 

This warranty does not apply to products that have been incorrectly installed, adjusted, or maintained according to edco specifications. Maintenance specifications can be found in the product instruction manual or online at edco.ch.

This warranty does not apply to damage caused by a crash, impact damage, abuse of the product, non-compliance with edco usage guidlines or any other circumstances in which the product has been subjected to forces or loads beyond its design or intended use.

This warranty does not apply when the product has been modified.

This warranty does not apply when the serial number or production code has been deliberately altered, defaced or removed.

This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear. Over time, all wear and tear parts are subject to damage as a result of normal use, failure to service and maintain according to recommendations and/or riding or installation in conditions or applications other than recommended. edco considers hub bearings a wear-and-tear item, and except under extenuating circumstances, bearings are not covered under this warranty.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by the use of parts from other manufacturers used in, or in conjunction with, the edco product. This includes brake pads.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by the use of parts that are not compatible, suitable and/ or authorized by edco.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from commercial (e.g. rental) use.

edco does not return damaged rims or other damaged products sent to us for warranty evaluation and claims.

edco is not responsible for shipping charges related to warranty evaluation, repair, or replacement.


The duration of any implied warranty or condition, of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or otherwise, on this product shall be limited to the duration of the express warranty set forth above. In no event shall edco be liable for any loss, inconvenience or damage, whether direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise resulting from breach of any express or implied warranty or condition, of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or otherwise with respect to this product except as set forth herein. Some locations may not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and some locations may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you.



This warranty in no way replaces or is an extension of a complete bicycle manufacturer‘s warranty. It is the edco product owner’s responsibility to regularly examine the product to determine the need for normal service or replacement. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which may vary from location to location.


edco team wheels or edco wheels obtained through sponsorship are not covered under warranty and the edco crash program does not apply.

In the event of a defect or issue, you can initiate a warranty claim through your local dealer, or directly with edco. Regardless of your choice we will do our very best to get you back on the road quickly.

Through your dealer:

  • Register your product at edco.ch 
  • Visit your dealer with the affected product and your original proof of purchase. The dealer should contact their edco distributor or edco directly. 
  • Together with your dealer we'll work to get the product repaired or replaced as quickly as possible.

Directly through edco:

  • Register your product at edco.ch 
  • Take a picture of the affected product and detailed picture of the affected area.
  • Contact edco by sending an email to info@edco.ch. Please include photos, serial number, description of the defect, cause of defect and proof of purchase. Make sure to also include your contact information such as phone number and address.
  • We'll contact you within the next workday with additional information.
